She was captivated by the concept of 'shakkei', or 'borrowed scenery', where the garden's design incorporates the background landscape into its composition. This idea of harmonious integration inspired the entire collection. Pieces like the 'Koi Pond' earrings feature water-like blue tourmalines and shimmering mother-of-pearl, set in flowing white gold to mimic the graceful movement of fish. The 'Moss Garden' ring uses a matrix of tiny, brilliant-cut tsavorite garnets to replicate the texture of lush moss on an ancient stone.
